Description
The Savage Arms AXIS II XP is a bolt-action rifle built for hunting and recreational shooting. This bundle pairs the rifle with a factory-mounted and boresighted 3-9x40 scope with fully multi-coated lenses and tool-less windage and elevation adjustments.
The rifle has a 22-inch barrel chambered in 223 Remington, with a 4-round capacity, a right-hand bolt action, and a matte OD Green synthetic stock. The stock features enhanced texturing, and the updated pistol grip has ambidextrous palm swells. The redesigned bolt handle is intended to improve control and comfort in rain or cold weather. The rifle also includes a user-adjustable AccuTrigger and thread-in headspacing.
The 223 Remington chambering is listed alongside 5.56x45mm NATO compatibility.
