Description
The Shield Arms Glock 43X/48 Magazine Catch/Release is a blue steel replacement magazine catch for the Glock 43X and Glock 48 pistols. It is ambidextrous and designed to be used with Shield Arms S15 magazines.
The catch is made of steel and features a chamfered, textured button and a lower profile for concealed carry. It is compatible with both Gen 1 and Gen 2 Shield Arms S15 magazines.
It remains compatible with plastic OEM magazines, but the manufacturer notes that it can increase wear on plastic magazines with prolonged use and that OEM magazines may not drop free. Steel-on-steel or plastic-on-plastic pairings are recommended. First-generation aluminum catches may not work with Gen 2 S15 magazines.
