Description
The Shield Sights SMS Mini is a black red dot sight for pistols, built around a single red dot reticle at 8 MOA. It is designed for competition shooting and self-defense, and the retailer text states it is used by several military and law enforcement forces.
The sight has a 1X magnification, a glass-filled polymer body, and a D-shaped hard-dipped acrylic lens with no filters. Brightness adjusts automatically, and the no-click adjustment is intended to make zeroing more precise. A patented mechanism allows co-witnessing with standard iron sights.
It fits Shield Standard Footprint pistol optic mounts and is compatible with night vision devices. The package includes a CR2032 battery, rated by the manufacturer for up to 20,000 hours of use in average daylight.
