Match-grade, short-chambered barrels have the correct contour to drop into Remington factory or aftermarket stocks with little-to-no barrel channel modifications. Install with your factory recoil lug. Muzzle is cut at 90Adeg to the bore and ready for crowning. After installation, use a hand-turned, finish reamer to deepen chamber until correct headspace is reached. (Correct headspace gauges and reamer required.)
