Shooters Choice Gun Bluing Kit Liquid 9-Piece

The Shooters Choice Gun Bluing Kit is a liquid cold blue system for refinishing bare steel on firearms. It is intended for touch-ups of high-wear areas such as a muzzle or slide, as well as complete refinishing of older guns, and is aimed at home gunsmiths and hobbyists.

The two-part chemical process bonds directly to bare steel and is described as coloring the metal to closely match a factory blue finish. Included chemistry is two ounces of Gun Blue, one ounce of Gun Cleaner Gel for surface prep, a half ounce of Curing Agent, and a half ounce of Lubricant to protect the finished surface. The included cleaner is recommended over acetone or other solvents, which can interfere with bonding.

The 9-piece kit also includes applicators, a microfiber cloth, steel wool, and scour pads, so the basic supplies needed to apply the chemicals are in one package. The chemical volume is stated to be enough for up to three complete re-blues or many smaller touch-ups.
