Description
The Shooters Choice Gun Blackening Kit is a cold black two part process for refinishing firearm metal surfaces. It bonds to and colors the metal, and it can be used for complete re-blackening or for touching up worn areas.
The kit includes Gun Black (2 oz.), Gun Cleaner Gel (1 oz.), Curing Agent (0.5 oz.), and Lubricant (0.5 oz.), along with applicators, microfiber cloth, steel wool, and scour pads. According to the manufacturer, it has enough chemicals for up to three complete re-blackening projects or dozens of touch-ups. Prepare the metal only with the included Gun Cleaner Gel, since acetone, degreasers, and rust removers can leave residues that interfere with bonding.
