Sierra MatchKing 6.5mm 144gr HPBT Rifle Bullets 100 Count

Sierra MatchKing Features The Sierra MatchKing 144 grain bullet is built around a jacketed lead core with a hollow point boat tail design a profile that has long been recognized for record setting accuracy in competitive shooting circles. Sized at .264 inch diameter for the 6.5mm bore this bullet is a strong fit for cartridges like 6.5x55mm as well as newer high capacity 6.5mm rounds gaining popularity among reloaders. The boat tail base reduces drag in flight helping the bullet retain velocity and resist wind drift at extended ranges. This makes the 144 grain MatchKing a superb competitor for ranges out to 1000 yards in the hands of a skilled handloader. Sierra notes that while MatchKing bullets are sometimes used for varmint hunting their design is optimized for target accuracy rather than reliable expansion on game so shooters should weigh that when selecting a bullet for their intended use. Packaged 100 to a box this bullet gives reloaders a substantial supply for load development and competition preparation without needing frequent reordering. High Power and Silhouette shooters in particular have shown strong interest in the 6.5mm bore size and this MatchKing bullet is tailored to that demand. Sierra s reputation for consistency in bullet weight and jacket uniformity continues to make the MatchKing line a trusted choice among precision reloaders.
