Single Action Gas Ring Stretcher

The Brownells Single Action Gas Ring Stretcher uses hardened steel jaws to swage and lengthen the gas ring for a tighter frame-to-cylinder fit on single action revolvers. This corrects extreme cylinder wear or stretched frames and improves the fit, function and accuracy of the firearm. It also helps diminish excessive head space caused by chambers that are cut too deeply. The Single Action Gas Ring Stretcher does require a heavy-duty bench vise. This product fits Ruger single actions with a 1/4" diameter base pin but it may be adapted for use on a 3rd generation Colt and other cylinders with integral gas ring.
