Description
The Smith & Wesson Model 500 is a double-action/single-action revolver built on the company's large X-Frame and chambered for the .500 S&W Magnum cartridge. It is intended for handgun hunting, where its stated muzzle energy of about 2,600 ft-lb is meant to suit large game.
