The Sons of Liberty Gun Works Liberty Fighting Barrel is a 14.5-inch replacement barrel for AR-15 rifles, built with a medium contour midlength profile. It is intended for shooters who want a shorter barrel for handling and a chambering suited to 5.56 NATO and .223 Remington ammunition.
The barrel is made from 41V50 chrome moly steel with a 5R button-rifled bore and a 1:7 twist rate. It has a .223 Wylde chamber, a phosphate finish in black, and a chrome-lined bore. The barrel extension is coated with DLC, and the barrel is dimpled for secure gas block installation. The 1/2x28 threaded muzzle accepts standard muzzle devices and direct-thread suppressors.
