Description
The Springfield Armory 1911 Ronin AOS is a full-size semi-automatic pistol chambered in 9mm Luger, built on the 1911 platform for duty, range and home defense use. It has a 5-inch barrel with a hammer-forged finish and a blued surface.
The Ronin uses forged steel construction, with carbon steel in the slide and stainless steel in the frame. It has a fiber optic front sight and a 9-round capacity. The AOS system accepts optics through interchangeable plates that mount to the slide, and each plate integrates a rear sight to set optic height.
The pistol ships with a cover plate. AOS optics plates are sold separately and are needed to mount a red dot optic.
