Springfield ~ U.S. Model 1873 Trapdoor Rifle ~ .45-70 Government

This Model 1873 is very close to correct in all aspects. The bookplate is clearly marked with the Federal Eagle next to the U.S. / Springfield / 1873. The breech lock is marked U.S. / Model / 1873. The barrel is marked with a softened V / P / Eagle Head. The rifle retains correct 1873 sights and also has the correct stacked sling swivels. A proper ramrod is included. The action appears to function well mechanically with a crisp three position tumbler. This is a solid example of the Springfield 1873.
