Steyr Arms AUG A3 M2 5.56 NATO 16" 30-Round Bullpup Rifle

The Steyr Arms AUG A3 M2 is a semi-automatic bullpup rifle chambered for 5.56x45mm NATO and 223 Remington. In the bullpup layout the action sits behind the trigger, so a 16-inch barrel fits into a compact overall package of 28.13 inches. The rifle is built for close-quarters work where a conventional rifle of the same barrel length would be harder to handle.

The barrel is steel lined with Mannox for corrosion resistance. The black synthetic stock combines the pistol grip, forend and buttstock into one unit. The rifle weighs 7.65 pounds and has a crossbolt safety. It accepts STANAG-compatible magazines, and the included capacity is 30 rounds.
