Description
The Strike Industries Venom Flash Hider is a muzzle device for AR-15 rifles, designed to reduce muzzle flash and to protect the muzzle crown. It is intended for use on rifles chambered in 223 Remington and 5.56x45mm NATO.
The device is made from black steel with a matte finish and measures 2.16 inches overall in length. It installs on 1/2"-28 threaded barrels with a 28 threads-per-inch pitch. The retailer recommends a torque of 15-20 ft-lbs. Installation requires no modifications to the rifle.
The design uses four prongs with serrated points at the muzzle end. The manufacturer also offers an optional blast shield, sold separately as a combination product.
