Thompson Center Contender 14" 223 Rem Blued Barrel

Thompson Center Contender Barrel Features The Thompson Center Contender Barrel is chambered in .223 Rem and machined from chrome moly steel with a classic blued finish. At 14 inches long the barrel carries no factory sights leaving the shooter free to mount a scope directly since the barrel is drilled and tapped for that purpose. Swapping barrels on the Contender platform is part of its original design appeal taking only seconds by removing the forend and tapping out the barrel frame hinge pin. No gunsmithing or special tools are required to complete the swap keeping the process accessible to any Contender owner. Because this barrel is built specifically for the Contender frame it will not fit Encore or G2 Contender frames so owners should confirm their frame type before ordering. A .810 inch diameter barrel profile keeps the overall package balanced and manageable for handgun hunting or target work. The .223 Rem chambering gives Contender shooters access to a flat shooting widely available cartridge for varmint hunting or informal target shooting. The Thompson Center Contender Barrel in .223 Rem is for sale at ARMSAGORA for Contender owners who want to expand their single shot pistol into a new caliber.
