Description
The Tippmann Arms M4-22 Elite is a semi-automatic rimfire rifle chambered in .22 LR, built on an AR-15 platform with aluminum upper and lower receivers. It is intended for training, competition practice and recreational plinking, and offers the handling of a full-size M4 at lower ammunition cost.
The rifle has a 16-inch 4150 steel barrel with a 1/2x28 threaded muzzle and A2 birdcage flash hider, an overall length of 31.5 inches and a weight of 5.1 pounds. It uses a 25-round capacity magazine, flip-up front and rear sights, and a 12-inch aluminum free-float M-LOK handguard. The Flat Dark Earth finish is a Duracote coating.
The M4-22 is largely mil-spec compatible and accepts most AR-15 stocks, handguards and sights, along with most standard AR-15 components. It is right-handed and includes a functional forward assist, a receiver-mounted two-position safety, and an ambidextrous sling adapter plate.
