Description
The Trijicon VCOG 1-8x28 is a variable-power rifle scope built for close-quarters and longer-range use on carbine or DMR-style rifles. Its 1-8x magnification range and 28mm objective lens provide a brighter sight picture than the earlier 1-6x VCOG models with a 24mm objective.
The scope uses a first focal plane red MOA segmented circle crosshair reticle with a 7075-T6 aluminum body in matte black. Toolless turrets offer .25 MOA click values with audible and tactile feedback. Illumination has 11 user-selectable brightness settings powered by a single AA battery, with a stated battery life of up to 633 hours.
The scope is chambered for .223 Remington and includes the Q-LOC quick-release mount, which allows one-handed attachment and removal without re-zeroing. Overall length is 16.2 inches.
