Description
The Trijicon VCOG 1-8x28 is a variable-power rifle scope with a first focal plane Red MRAD Crosshair Dot reticle, designed for carbine and DMR-style rifles that need both close-quarters and long-range use. Its 1-8x magnification range adds upper levels over earlier 1-6x VCOG models.
The scope has a 28mm objective lens and a black 7075-T6 aluminum body. Toolless turrets offer 0.25 MOA or 0.1 MRAD click values with audible and tactile feedback. The reticle illumination has 11 settings and runs on a single AA battery. The scope is waterproof to 20 meters and is nitrogen purged.
The scope comes with the Q-LOC Quick Release Mount, which allows one-handed attachment and removal without re-zeroing. The Q-LOC mount is listed for the 223 Remington caliber.
