Description
The TROY Industries Low Profile Gas Block is a replacement front gas block for AR-15 and LR-308 rifles, designed to take the place of the standard front sight assembly. Its slim profile allows rail systems and free float tubes to be installed over it, extending past the gas block location.
The block is made from steel with a black oxide finish and is secured to the barrel with two set screws located on the bottom of the block. It is intended for barrels where the standard mil-spec front sight has been removed, as it will not cover a front taper pin hole on a barrel that still has a standard sight installed.
The gas block is supplied without the gas tube roll pin, which must be sourced separately for installation.
