Description
The TROY Industries BattleSight Rear Folding Standard Height is a flip-up iron sight for AR-15 platform rifles with a Picatinny top rail. It serves as a backup or companion to an optic, and is intended to replace the rear sight found in the carry handle on M4, AR-15, SR25 and AR-10 flat-top rifles.
The rear sight locks in the upright position and folds down out of the way when a side-mounted button is pushed. It is built from aircraft-grade aluminum with stainless steel components and has a black hardcoat anodized finish. The standard aperture center sits 1.36 inches above the rail, and this standard height version is meant for Mil-spec top rails. A micro version with a 1.16-inch aperture center is available for raised top rails.
It works with standard height front sights and is listed as compatible with AR-15, M4, AR-10 and SR25 platforms. The sight is sold in black.
