Description
The TROY Battle Sight Rear Folding is a flip-up iron sight for AR-15, M4 and AR-10 flat top upper receivers, built to serve as a backup or secondary sight alongside a standard-height front sight. It mounts to a Picatinny rail and replaces the rear sight found in the carry handle or on the gas block of flat top rifles.
The sight is machined from aircraft grade aluminum with stainless steel components and finished in Flat Dark Earth with a hard coat anodized surface. It locks in the upright position and folds down out of the way with a side-mounted button. This is the standard-height version, with the aperture center measured at 1.36 inches; TROY's micro version, measured at 1.16 inches, is intended for raised top rails instead.
The standard model is designed for Mil-spec top rails.
