Designed and manufactured in Peoria, Arizona, the Alpha brings together precision machining, hand fitting and function testing in a single production facility.Every Alpha is machined, hand-fit, finished and function-checked under one roof at United Gunworks' 60,000-square-foot manufacturing facility. Each pistol is cut and fitted to order, reflecting the company's focus on consistent tolerances and carefully fitted components.The 4.5-inch match-grade ported island barrel is designed to help manage muzzle movement, while the ultra-low-mass slide reduces reciprocating mass. Together, these features form the core of the Alpha's performance-oriented configuration.A flat-face trigger provides a crisp 2-3 lb. break with a clean, repeatable reset. The full-size steel frame features an integral accessory rail machined into the dust cover for mounting a weapon light, while the checkered grip provides a positive index in the hand. A flared magwell helps guide the magazine during reloads.The UG-1 Alpha uses a modular optic plate system with the slide cut for multiple optic footprints.
