Vision Products Covert Forend Gen 2 Armor Black Stealth Gray. At 29.3 cm / 11.54in the Covert Forend is the shortest forend in the modular Vision Legacy product line. Optimized for short barrels it allows the creation of a compact rifle system while retaining a full set of practical features. Like the Competition Forends it accepts barrel diameters up to 32 mm / 1.25in straight. It features a full-length integrated ARCA rail with ARCALOCK and RRS-LOCK interfaces providing secure and repeatable mounting for tripods bipods and other ARCA-based accessories. To fine-tune overall weight and balance the forend supports the addition of internal and external steel weights. M-LOK slots along the sides and bottom allow flexible mounting of weights and other accessories as needed. QD cup mounting points are located at the front on both sides and the bottom of the forend for sling attachment. The forend also supports the installation of night vision bridges enabling NV and bipod mounting options while helping reduce barrel mirage. The Covert Forend is part of the Vision Legacy Competition Forend family and is fully compatible with Competition Forend accessories such as NV bridges and internal weights.
