Description
The Vortex Viper PST GEN II FFP Rifle Scope features advanced optical technologies, premium components, and state-of-the-art reticles to give you a tactical scope that performs well beyond its cost. An illuminated, hashmarked, first focal plane reticle, and tactical-style turrets enable shooters to compensate for bullet drop and wind drift at long-range. The first focal plane reticle maintains consistent reticle size in relation to the target (subtension) through the entire zoom range. The Rapid Zero Return (RZR) feature uses steel components to stop the turret from dialing below original zero after a long-range, compensated shot. Extra-low dispersion (XD) glass increases resolution and color fidelity, resulting in crisp, sharp images, while fully multi-coated XR anti-reflective coatings on all air-to-glass surfaces maximize light transmission. Exterior lenses surfaces feature Vortex's ultra hard ArmorTek coating to protect against scratches, oil and dirt. A 1-piece, 30mm main tube constructed of aircraft-grade aluminum results in strength and rigidity, and a highly durable hard anodized low-glare matte finish aids in longevity and concealment. The Viper PST GEN II FFP Rifle Scope is O-ring sealed, and argon gas-purged for waterproof/fogproof dependability. Covered by VIP Unconditional Lifetime Warranty. Works well for shooting at known distances. EBR-2C MRAD Reticle accommodates shooters who are familiar with military range estimations. MRAD uses one standard adjustment of one-tenth. Base-10 math simplifies calculating elevation and windage compensation at unknown ranges.
