WALTHER P38 9MM LUGER

This is a post-war production Walther P38 with anodized aluminum frame and parkerized steel barrel and slide. The walther P38 was designed to replace the Luger for WW2, although both saw extensive use. The short recoil operated, double/single action pistol with a decocker was unique for its time and has an iconic silhouette. This example appears to have been made in 1961. Although gracefully worn, most of the finish is present, and would make a great showpiece or shooter.
