Weatherby 307 Alpine MDT Carbon .300 PRC 22" 5-Round Bolt Action Rifle

Weatherby 307 Alpine MDT Carbon Features The Weatherby 307 Alpine MDT Carbon is built on the Model 307 action a 2-lug fully cylindrical design that is compatible with a wide range of aftermarket triggers stocks and mounts. Chambered in .300 PRC the 22 BSF carbon barrel with a 1:10 twist delivers unmatched accuracy while shedding weight compared to a traditional steel barrel. Weatherby s Accubrake DST or Directional Self-Timing Brake significantly reduces felt recoil and lets shooters stay on target for faster follow up shots. A 2-position thumb safety keeps operation simple and intuitive in the field or on the range. Weatherby teamed with MDT to build the HNT26 carbon fiber chassis system which includes a foldable buttstock that trims over 9 inches of total length when collapsed for easier transport and storage. The receiver and Accubrake DST wear a Carbon Gray Cerakote finish while the bolt and bolt knob are treated in Graphite Black Cerakote giving the rifle a rugged protective coating built to handle harsh field conditions. The 5/8x24 threaded muzzle is ready to accept a suppressor for hunters who want reduced recoil and sound signature. With a 5 round capacity and a total weight of just 6.6 pounds this rifle is engineered for shooters who need to cover serious distance without carrying serious weight.
