Description
The Weatherby Alpine MDT 307 is a bolt action rifle chambered in 300 PRC, built on Weatherby's Model 307 action and fitted with an MDT carbon fiber chassis. It is intended for long-range precision shooting and field use.
The rifle has a right-hand, 2-lug, fully cylindrical bolt action and a 26-inch fluted sporter-profile barrel with threading. The chassis has a foldable buttstock that reduces overall length by more than 9 inches when collapsed. The metal has a Cerakote graphite black finish, the rifle weighs 6.9 pounds, and it ships without sights and with a 5-round capacity.
The Model 307 action is designed to accept many aftermarket stocks, triggers, rails, mounts, and magazines.
