Description
The Weatherby Alpine MDT 307 is a bolt action rifle chambered in 7mm PRC, built on Weatherby's Model 307 action and fitted to an MDT carbon fiber chassis. It is intended for range shooting and field use where a light, compact rifle is wanted.
The rifle weighs 6.8 lbs and has a 22-inch fluted sporter profile barrel with threading. The 2-lug, fully cylindrical action holds 3 rounds. The carbon fiber chassis has a foldable buttstock that shortens overall length by more than 9 inches when collapsed. The finish is Cerakote Graphite Black. No sights are included.
The Model 307 action is designed to accept many aftermarket stocks, triggers, rails, mounts, and magazines. The rifle is configured for right-handed shooters.
