Alignment bars allows alignment of both rings & will diagnose misalignment problems vertical or horizontal. With adjustment this tool will prevent scope from damage. Lapping bar improves alignment reduces stress on scope & improves grip of rings on scope. Serves as lever to rotate dovetail rings into place.
