Winchester XPR Extreme 6.8 Western 24" 3+1 Bolt Action Rifle

Winchester XPR Extreme Features The Winchester XPR Extreme centers its performance on a spiral fluted QPQ black finished barrel that removes excess metal for a lighter carry without sacrificing rigidity. The free floating button rifled barrel wears a target crown for consistent bullet release and ships with a threaded muzzle fitted with a muzzle brake on a 9/16x24 thread pattern. A 1:8 twist rate stabilizes heavier 6.8 Western bullets at extended range and the steel receiver is drilled and tapped for scope mounts so shooters can set up glass of their choice. The user adjustable M.O.A. Trigger System breaks cleanly giving hunters the confidence to make precise shots on demanding shots across open country. The textured Tungsten Cerakote finish on the synthetic stock is tough non-reflective and built to grip securely in rain snow or sweat standing up to the scrapes that come with a hard hunt. A two-position thumb safety and bolt unlock button add a layer of control in the field while the Inflex Technology recoil pad soaks up felt recoil from the 6.8 Western cartridge for faster follow-up shots. Factory-installed sling swivel studs mean the rifle is ready for a carry strap right out of the box. At roughly 7 lbs and 44 overall the Winchester XPR Extreme balances portability and shootability for the walk to the stand or deep into the backcountry.
