Winchester Model 70 Featherweight Walnut 6.8 Western 24 Barrel 3-Rounds

Winchester Model 70 Featherweight Features The Winchester Model 70 Featherweight is built around a controlled round feed action with claw extractor and controlled ejection a design trusted for decades to chamber and extract reliably even under adverse hunting conditions. The 24 barrel carries a target crown and a 1:8 twist rate matched to heavier 6.8 Western bullets for stable accurate flight downrange. A drilled and tapped receiver with a gloss blued finish is ready to accept a scope for the long-range shots this cartridge is built for. The M.O.A. Trigger System gives the shooter a crisp adjustable break that helps translate the rifle s inherent accuracy into hits in the field. The satin finish AA French Maple stock brings classic Featherweight cut checkering and a Schnabel fore-end that recall the rifle s storied heritage while still providing a secure comfortable grip in the field. A 3-position safety offers quick tactile control over the rifle s readiness without taking the eyes off a target. The Pachmayr Decelerator recoil pad absorbs the stout recoil generated by the 6.8 Western cartridge keeping repeat shots comfortable and controlled. Weighing 7 lbs the Winchester Model 70 Featherweight is for sale at ARMSAGORA for hunters who want a classic lightweight bolt gun chambered for serious long-range big game hunting.
