The Winchester Model 70 Extreme Bolt-Action Rifle features a durable Bell and Carlson synthetic stock with a sculpted cheekpiece and a TrueTimber VSX camo finish. 1-piece bottom metal with a steel floorplate adds rigidity and durability, and all exterior steel surfaces feature a durable Tungsten Cerakote finish for lasting corrosion and weather resistance. The stock features a Pachmayr Decelerator recoil pad. The "pre-'64" Model 70 action utilizes a large claw extractor to provide maximum surface contact on the cartridge's rim for sure extraction of the spent casing, and a solid blade-type ejector reliably clears empty cases from the action.
