WINCHESTER ~ MODEL 52 ~ .22 LONG RIFLE

Up for sale is a legendary champion of rimfire competition: a 1950-production Winchester Model 52B bolt-action target rifle chambered in .22 Long Rifle. Widely revered by collectors and marksmen as "The King of the .22s," this mid-century rifle features the highly desirable factory "Speed Lock" mechanism, engineered for an incredibly fast lock time and crisp, adjustable trigger break. Built for maximum precision, the rifle features a heavy 28-inch bull barrel designed to maximize front-end stability and eliminate barrel harmonics for tight, one-hole groups at the bench. The action is securely housed in a substantial walnut target stock featuring a wide forend. This rifle does not have sights installed, leaving a clean, bare barrel setup that is perfectly primed to be outfitted with your choice of high-power vintage target optics or precision aperture match sights. Whether you are a dedicated rimfire competitor or a serious Winchester collector, this heavy-barrel, B-series Model 52 represents a pinnacle of historic American rimfire engineering.
