Winchester Model 61 22 S/L/LR Pump-Action Rifle

This Winchester Model 61 pump-action rifle is chambered for .22 Short, .22 Long, and .22 Long Rifle and bears serial number 177542. Based on available Winchester serial number data, it was manufactured in 1952. The rifle appears to be in good overall vintage condition, showing an attractive walnut stock and grooved forearm with expected handling marks from age and use. The blued metal finish presents well, and the rifle retains its classic take-down configuration. Introduced in 1932, the Winchester Model 61 was designed as a premium successor to Winchester's earlier rimfire pump rifles. Featuring a streamlined internal-hammer design, smooth slide action, and the ability to chamber .22 Short, Long, and Long Rifle cartridges, the Model 61 quickly earned a reputation for reliability and accuracy.
