Winchester Model 1892 25-20 Win Lever Action Rifle with Ammo

This Winchester Model 1892 lever-action rifle is chambered in the desirable .25-20 Winchester cartridge and bears serial number 384401, indicating production in the early 1900s, approximately 1907. Featuring an attractive walnut stock and forend with honest handling wear consistent with age, the rifle retains a pleasing vintage appearance. The metal finish shows expected wear and patina from over a century of use, adding to its collectible character. Included with the rifle is one box of .25-20 Winchester ammunition. Designed by legendary firearms inventor John M. Browning, the Winchester Model 1892 was introduced as a stronger, lighter successor to the Model 1873 and became one of the most successful lever-action rifles ever produced. The .25-20 Winchester chambering was added in 1895 and quickly gained popularity as a small-game and varmint cartridge due to its light recoil and accuracy.
