The Yankee Hill Machine Q.D. thread protector is a parkerized aluminum cap that covers the coarse ACME threads of a quick-detach muzzle device while it is removed. Its purpose is to keep those threads clean and undamaged between uses.
The protector is black with a parkerized finish and is machined from aluminum. It uses an ACME thread pitch and a quick-detach mount, matching the Yankee Hill Machine Q.D. system.
It is designed for Yankee Hill Machine quick-detach flash hiders and muzzle brakes. It will not fit standard 1/2-28 barrel threads.
