Anschutz 1761 D HB Features The Anschutz 1761 D HB uses the proven 1761 bolt action repeater system a design respected among precision rimfire shooters for its smooth cycling and tight tolerances. The 5061 single stage trigger provides a crisp consistent break that helps shooters extract maximum accuracy from the .17 HMR cartridge. An 18 heavy barrel adds stability during extended strings of fire reducing barrel whip and helping maintain tight groups. The 1/2x28 threaded muzzle allows the addition of a suppressor or muzzle device for shooters who want reduced report at the range. A Classic style Walnut stock gives the rifle traditional European lines and a comfortable balanced feel in hand. At 6.39 lbs the rifle stays light enough for extended offhand or bench shooting sessions without excessive fatigue. The 5-round detachable magazine offers a manageable capacity for controlled deliberate shooting typical of precision rimfire disciplines.
