The butt has a flat surface specially made for shooting with a rear bag, and this is the absolute best way to shoot accurate on extended ranges. For shooters wanting a great stock to shoot from the bench with a front and rear rest, or in the field, this is the perfect stock. During our testing, the rifle rides exceedingly well in the bags.
