Oberndorf A.N. factory. Made in Germany for the Portuguese military and the overall design is almost identical to the Kar98k with some small differences. The most notable is the improved and more robust front sight. The new design provided more protection for the front sight and is a very noticeable difference from the Kar98k. The 1937 model is rare extremely desirable and a must have rifle for the serious Mauser 98k collector. This rifle is loaded with German Waffenamt markings. The stock is worn from battlefield and daily usage with some dents and scratches but overall condition is NRA Fair to Good.
