It was manufactured in Yugoslavia and is sold here in fair to poor surplus condition, with significant noted wear including a damaged and cracked stock, non-matching serial numbers, and only partial matching on receiver and floorplate, while the bolt is unnumbered. It is being sold strictly “as-is,” meaning no guarantees on condition beyond what is described or shown. Rifles like this are typically valued more for their historical appeal or potential restoration project status rather than shooting-ready condition, especially given the stock damage and mismatched parts, though the 8mm Mauser cartridge remains widely available and the action itself is known for durability.
