Ballistic Advantage Carbine Length Gas Tube AR-15 Melonite Black

Ballistic Advantage Gas Tube Features The Ballistic Advantage Gas Tube is built to carbine length specifications at 9.8 inches matching the gas system length used on the vast majority of carbine configured AR-15 rifles and pistols. Its melonite finish provides increased resistance to the extreme heat and carbon fouling that gas tubes are subjected to with every round fired extending the tube s service life compared to a bare steel alternative. That same coating also improves corrosion resistance which matters for a part that sits directly in the path of hot combustion gases cycling the action. A properly functioning gas tube is critical to reliable cycling making it one of the more overlooked but essential components in any AR-15 build. A roll pin ships with the gas tube giving builders the hardware needed to complete installation without having to source an additional part separately. Finished in black to match standard AR-15 furniture and components the tube blends in seamlessly with the rest of a typical build. Whether replacing a worn or damaged factory tube or building a rifle from a stripped upper this gas tube offers a straightforward drop in solution. For AR-15 owners who want a durable corrosion resistant gas tube without paying for unnecessary extras the Ballistic Advantage Gas Tube is a dependable choice.
