The Battle Arms Development Enhanced Bolt Catch is a replacement bolt catch for AR-15 and M16 rifles, designed to hold the bolt carrier group open after the last round is fired and to release it for loading. It is machined from 8620 heat-treated cast steel and finished in black phosphate.
The part features oversize control surfaces with horizontal and diagonal serrations for positive engagement, a raised T-shaped heel for bolt lock-back, and a skeletonized, tapered design intended to reduce weight while keeping the body robust. Its modular layout is noted for compatibility with the Norgon Ambi-Catch without interference.
