BSF Barrels Carbon Fiber AR-10 6.5 Creedmoor 20" 1:8 Threaded Barrel

BSF Barrels AR-10 Barrel Features The Bsf Barrels Carbon Fiber Barrel starts as a turned-down 416R stainless steel match barrel which is then jacketed in a roll-wrapped carbon fiber sleeve loaded under tension. This jacketing method is used instead of direct carbon fiber wrapping because wrapping alone has been shown to trap heat and cause delamination over time. The carbon fiber material is specifically engineered to expand at the same rate as the 416R stainless steel underneath keeping the two materials working together rather than against each other as the barrel heats up. Slots machined into the carbon fiber allow air to circulate around the barrel venting heat faster without risking separation between the layers. Because the carbon jacket is under tension the barrel maintains straighter rifling even as it warms during extended strings of fire which helps preserve accuracy session after session. This construction method also keeps the barrel notably lighter than an equivalent all-steel barrel reducing the overall weight of an AR-10 build without sacrificing stiffness or strength. At 20 inches with a 1:8 twist button rifled construction and a 5/8x24 thread pattern this barrel is built to handle 6.5 Creedmoor s long-range ballistics effectively. For AR-10 shooters seeking a lightweight heat-resistant barrel upgrade the Bsf Barrels Carbon Fiber Barrel is for sale at ARMSAGORA.
