Colt Firearms Executive 1911 Government Model Case Color .45 ACP 5 Barrel 7-Rounds

Colt Firearms Executive 1911 Government Model Features The Colt Executive 1911 Government Model is built on Colt s full-size Government frame chambered in .45 ACP with a 5 inch barrel that delivers the sight radius and ballistic performance the cartridge was designed around. Its single-action trigger and classic external safeties reflect the original 1911 design that Colt has produced continuously for over a century. Feeding from a 7-round magazine this pistol follows the traditional capacity standard of the Government Model rather than a modern high-capacity variant. As one of only 100 examples produced the Executive edition is a genuinely limited offering within Colt s 1911 lineup making it a piece that stands apart from a standard production run. The case color finish sets this pistol apart visually from a standard blued or stainless Government Model giving each example a unique mottled pattern created through the case hardening process. That finish is as much a functional heat treatment as it is a decorative one adding hardness to the treated surfaces while producing a one of a kind pattern that no two pistols share exactly alike. Pairing a limited production run with a distinctive finish makes this Executive model a pistol built as much for display and collection as for the range. The full-size Government frame underneath that finish still carries the weight balance and five inch sight radius that have made the 1911 platform a benchmark for accuracy and feel in the hand since its introduction. Collectors seeking a numbered limited-edition Colt 1911 with genuine heritage and a striking finish will find the Executive 1911 Government Model a compelling piece for sale at ARMSAGORA.
