Description
The Colt Competition SS Government is a stainless steel 1911 pistol in .45 ACP, built for competition shooting and timed events. It uses a 5-inch National Match barrel and a Series 70 firing system for a clean, crisp single-action trigger pull.
The pistol has a stainless steel frame and a Novak adjustable rear sight with a fiber optic front sight for precise aiming. Custom G10 grips, an upswept beavertail grip safety, and an undercut trigger guard keep the gun low in the hand. A dual recoil spring system reduces felt recoil. It weighs 36 ounces and holds 8 rounds.
