Description
The Colt 1911 Government Competition is a single-action, 9mm Luger pistol built on the 1911 platform, intended for precision target shooting. It has a 5-inch National Match barrel and a stainless steel frame and slide finished in blue titanium Cerakote.
Sighting is handled by a Novak fiber optic front sight paired with an adjustable rear sight. The pistol uses a dual recoil spring system, an ambidextrous thumb safety, and a beavertail grip safety. Gray G10 grips with a scalloped texture are fitted. It weighs 36 ounces and measures 8.5 inches overall.
The pistol holds 9 rounds and ships with one magazine and spare fiber optic sight inserts.
