The Faxon Duty Series Big Gunner is an 18-inch replacement barrel chambered in 308 Winchester and built for AR-10 platform rifles. It is machined from 4150 CMV steel and finished with a black salt bath nitride coating, which the retailer describes as QPQ nitride, for added surface durability.
The barrel is button rifled and uses a medium taper behind the gas block with a gas block journal diameter of 0.750 inches, a common size for compatibility with standard gas blocks.
