Description
The Faxon Duty Series LR-308 Pencil Contour is a 16-inch replacement barrel chambered in 308 Winchester for AR-10 pattern rifles. It is made from 4150 CMV steel and finished with a black salt bath nitride coating for corrosion resistance and wear durability.
The barrel uses a 1:10 twist rate and fits the AR-10 mid-length gas system. Each barrel is magnetic particle inspected to check for surface and sub-surface flaws and air-gauge tested for accuracy. The contour is thinner forward of the gas block journal to reduce weight while retaining rigidity.
