Description
The Faxon Duty Series Big Gunner is a 16-inch AR-10 barrel chambered in 308 Winchester, designed for mid-length gas system builds. It is machined from 4150 CMV steel and finished with a black QPQ nitride coating for added surface durability.
Each barrel is magnetic particle inspected for surface and sub-surface defects and air-gauge tested for accuracy. The Big Gunner is button rifled with a medium taper behind the gas block and a .750-inch gas block journal, which suits most common gas blocks. Forward of the journal, a thinner taper reduces weight while maintaining rigidity for sustained fire and suppressor use.
The barrel fits AR-10 mid-length gas systems and is intended for competition, law enforcement, and military applications.
