The Fortis Manufacturing Billet Dust Cover replaces the standard ejection port cover on mil-spec AR-15 uppers. It is machined from a solid piece of Aircraft Grade 6061-T6 aluminum rather than stamped or polymer construction, which is intended to hold up to repeated cycling.
The cover measures 3.13 inches long and 0.885 inch wide, built to the mil-spec envelope, and weighs 0.4 ounces. It carries a Type III hardcoat anodize finish in OD Green that resists corrosion and wear and matches other OD Green components on the rifle.
It is listed for 223 Remington and 5.56x45mm NATO builds and fits the AR-15 mil-spec ejection port without modification.
